I am using a home desktop to connect to my company via VPN (PPTP). My VPN connection was working perfectly fine up until this afternoon. To test an unrelated issue, I configured my host with NAT and connected to my VPN through my VM with NAT configured. Then, I removed all NAT components from my host and set the guest back to bridged mode.

What I can see is that my computer sends "PPP LCP Configuration Requests" of protocol 47 (GRE), and gets no response. Thanks a million.I read the mentioned post.
